My K12 Space Online Bookmarking Settings

When you login and click the settings menu, you will see the image to the left on the right side of the web page. These are the bookmarking features that you can use when you browse the Web and when you find a Web site that you want to bookmark, these features will allow you to do this automatically in three different ways.

1. New Window Option
2. Same Window Option
3. Add To Sidebar Option - Mozilla Firefox Only
   

New Window Option

The new window option bookmarking will open in a new window. To do this, drag the first bookmark link to the link bar menu (Image 1 below). You must be logged in to do this. Note: if you right click the bookmark link in the link bar menu, you can use the property link to change the bookmark name to what you want to. Now, while you are logged in, browse the Web and when you find a Web site you want to bookmark, click the bookmark link in the link bar menu and the new window will popup for you to bookmark the Web site (Image 2 below).

New Window Option

Now, its just a matter of filling out the New Bookmark and clicking the OK button.

Same Window Option

The same window option bookmarking will open in the same window. To do this, drag the first bookmark link to the link bar menu (Image 3 below). You must be logged in to do this. Note: if you right click the bookmark link in the link bar menu, you can use the property link to change the bookmark name to what you want to. Now, while you are logged in, browse the Web and when you find a Web site you want to bookmark, click the bookmark link in the link bar menu and the new window will popup for you to bookmark the Web site (Image 4 below).

Same Window Option

Now, its just a matter of filling out the New Bookmark and clicking the OK button. Once you are done, just click the browser's back button to return to the previous Web page.

Add To Sidebar Option - (Mozilla Firefox only)

The add to sidebar option bookmarking will open a new window. To do this, click the Add to Sidebar link (Image 5 below). Next, complete the New Bookmark and click the Add button. Now, log in, and once you are logged in, click the bookmark link you created from the main Bookmarks menu . Once you do this, your bookmark links hierarchy tree will be visible in the right side of the browser window (Image 6 below). Remember, this option allows you to browse the Web, while at the same time use your bookmarks to go to specific Web sites.
